The State of New Hampshire’s Annual Property Tax Relief applications are due by June 30, 2010. This applies to New Hampshire residents who own a home subject to property tax in the State of New Hampshire as of April 1, 2009 and have a total household income of $20,000 or less if single ($40,000 or less if married or head of household). The program provides property tax relief to those who qualify.
Please be aware that effective for the 2009 tax relief, the application form (DP-8) will not be mailed to residents who previously qualified. Residents who believe they qualify will need to obtain an application at the Department of Revenue’s website or visit their local municipal office.
