Planning ahead for tax cuts and job act expirations
"The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) of 2017 made several significant changes to individual and business income taxes. However, most of these changes were temporary. Individual-related provisions are set to sunset by the end of 2025, with business-related provisions following suit from 2025 to 2028. With an impending election, the extension of these expiring measures remains uncertain, as do the possibilities of additional changes to tax policy. Please note that the following items are only some of the most significant provisions that are expiring. These are highlights and do not include exhaustive details. As is typical with tax law, everything remains subject to change."
