Mason + Rich Announces Employee Promotions (January 2026)

Join us in congratulating our recently promoted employees! With bi-annual reviews occurring in January and July, the firm typically has two opportunities for staff to be recognized for moving into a senior position. The following promotions were recognized during the January 2026 reviews:
Emma Toma – Office Manager
Colby Ryan – Staff Accountant II
Mason Connor - Staff Accountant III
Emma Toma, promoted to Office Manager, joined the Mason + Rich team in July 2022. She enjoys helping both colleagues and clients navigate their questions and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. Emma is one of the friendly voices you may hear when you call our office. With a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Sound Recording from the University of New Haven, Emma brings a creative and detail-oriented approach to her work. Before joining Mason + Rich, Emma worked in hospital management. Emma enjoys making music, designing fun enamel pins, and spending time with friends and family. She lives in Concord, NH with her husband, Drew, and their two dogs.
Colby Ryan, promoted to Staff Accountant II, joined the Mason + Rich team in June 2024. He primarily works on individual and business tax preparation. Colby comes to us after gaining experience as a tax intern where he focused mainly on individual and trust returns, and learned the basics of QuickBooks. He is looking forward to sitting for the CPA exams in the near future. Colby graduated from the University of New Hampshire in Durham with his Bachelors in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting. He lives in Auburn, NH with his girlfriend, Sarah. He loves spending his time camping, whittling, biking, and swimming, but also loves to play board games with his friends.
Mason Connor, promoted to Staff Accountant III, joined the Mason + Rich team in October 2024. Mason primarily assists the Audit and Assurance department with their duties while also exploring the various roles and responsibilities within a public accounting firm. He hopes to expand his knowledge and experience to better prepare him for when he eventually sits for the CPA exam. Mason graduated from Southern New Hampshire University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Before joining Mason + Rich, he spent three years in a finance position within a private industry. Mason resides in Deering, NH, alongside his German shepherd, Liesel. He enjoys riding his motorcycle when the weather permits, and he is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing, and competitive shooting.
