Meet Tanuja Nomula:
Tanuja earned a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering at RVR & JC College of Engineering and a Master’s in Business Administration with a major in Finance from PB Siddhartha College of Arts and Sciences, both of which are in India. She recently completed the Accounting Basics Certificate course through NHTI.

How long have you been with Mason + Rich?
I just started my second year at Mason + Rich. I joined as an accounting apprentice to learn about accounting. Now, I am a staff Accountant 1.
What are 3 fun facts about yourself?
I can speak three languages. Before accounting, I worked as a paraprofessional at a high school. I have a three year old dog and his name is Happy.

Describe an interesting hobby or pastime that you have.
I love to travel and hope to visit as many places as possible.
What is the best advice you can give someone who just started their career?
It’s okay to ask questions. There’s no such thing as a wrong question. And
remember, you don't have to perfect at everything you do.
What is your specialty?
I do not have a specialty yet. I am still learning but I want to specialize in individual taxes.
What area of tax/accounting do you like best and why?
I like individual taxes. When I prepare a tax return and get good review notes, I feel like I accomplished something.
What is your favorite part of New Hampshire and why?
My favorite part of New Hampshire is the seasons, especially fall. Even after living here for 25 years, it feels new every year.
What does your position entail/what's your favorite part about your position?
Preparing individual tax returns and Bookkeeping. My favorite part is learning how a tax return can tell a story about the clients.
Do you have any family traditions?
For Thanksgiving and Christmas, we would always have pizza for dinner and we watch How the Grinch Stole Christmas movie on Christmas day.
What is your favorite tax/accounting fun facts?
The term "bookkeeping" is the only English word to contain three sets of back-to-back double letters.
