New Overtime Rule Halted

The new overtime rule, revised by the US Department of Labor this May, was abruptly blocked last week after being reviewed by a Texas Federal District Court Judge. Although the new rules were to go into effect on December 1, the ruling halts implementation nationwide arguing that the changes violate States' Constitutional rights.
