​Mason + Rich celebrates another successful tax season with a delicious lunch at The Barley House!

Ping-Pong Tournament 2026

Back by popular demand, we hosted another office ping pong tournament, giving our team a well-earned break from the fast pace of tax season. It was a great opportunity for staff to recharge, connect, and enjoy some friendly competition.
 
This year’s tournament brought an unexpected twist. Our returning champions, Andrew and Dana, put up strong performances and didn’t make it easy for anyone to take the title. As many of you may remember, Andrew claimed the championship in 2025 and came back ready to defend it.
 
However, in a surprising turn of events, this year’s title was claimed by Peter Berg, one of our interns! Peter faced off against Andrew and then Dana where he emerged victorious in each match.

3rd Annual  Putt Putt Tournament

Each year, our team members take to the green for one of the firm’s most anticipated traditions: our annual putt-putt challenge. What began as a friendly competition has become a spirited contest of focus, finesse, and a little healthy rivalry.
 
Colleagues from across the firm face off for the coveted titles of first- and second-place putter — and, of course, bragging rights for the year ahead. Adding to the excitement, the top two finishers are awarded $25 gift cards in recognition of their standout performances. This year's winners were Pollyanna and Sammie!

Volunteer Day 2025

The firm had a great time volunteering at Friends Of Forgotten Children, where they prepared Thanksgiving boxes for local families in need. This is such a rewarding opportunity for the team, and we were so happy to be back!

Halloween  2025

The firm celebrated Halloween by playing Halloween themed Jeopardy hosted by Avery, having a costume contest, and enjoying apple cider donuts! Brenda Quinn (witch) and Avery (Alex Trebek) won the contest!

M+R Photo Contest 2025

M+R held a photo contest! Everyone who participated had to send in a photo taken in September. Our 2 winners were Avery (pumpkins) and Tanuja (butterfly)!

Themed Potluck/Welcome Christine 2025

The firm celebrated Christine joining the team by having a themed potluck! People were to bring something that started with the first letter of their name. From sweet to savory, everything was amazing!

At every firm event we ask an interesting question to learn more about our colleagues. This time, we asked: If you could live in any fictional land (book/movie/show) where would you want to live? Dana and Colby both voted for Middle Earth!

On April 15th Mason + Rich employees went to The Barley House for a relaxing lunch to celebrate the end of another successful tax season!

​Ping Pong Tournament

Back by popular demand, we held another ping pong tournament to allow our staff a brief respite from the busyness of tax season. This year's final round was Dana and Andrew going head to head. As a lot of you may know, Dana has been the reigning champ for the past 2 years, but Andrew took the title this year! Congratulations, Andrew!

2nd Annual Putt Putt Tournament 

We hosted our 2nd annual putt putt tournament on February 28th to help keep spirits high during the busyness of tax season. The winners of the tournament were Sammie and Dana. We created a 5-hole course filled with many obstacles! 

First Place Tie: Sammie/Dana 17
Second Place Ties: Andrew, Colby, Emma, Rob and Brendon 18
