Volunteer Day 2025
The firm had a great time volunteering at Friends Of Forgotten Children, where they prepared Thanksgiving boxes for local families in need. This is such a rewarding opportunity for the team, and we were so happy to be back!

Halloween 2025
The firm celebrated Halloween by playing Halloween themed Jeopardy hosted by Avery, having a costume contest, and enjoying apple cider donuts! Brenda Quinn (witch) and Avery (Alex Trebek) won the contest!
M+R Photo Contest 2025
M+R held a photo contest! Everyone who participated had to send in a photo taken in September. Our 2 winners were Avery (pumpkins) and Tanuja (butterfly)!

Ping Pong Tournament

Back by popular demand, we held another ping pong tournament to allow our staff a brief respite from the busyness of tax season. This year's final round was Dana and Andrew going head to head. As a lot of you may know, Dana has been the reigning champ for the past 2 years, but Andrew took the title this year! Congratulations, Andrew!

Staff Spotlight: Emma Toma
2nd Annual Putt Putt Tournament
We hosted our 2nd annual putt putt tournament on February 28th to help keep spirits high during the busyness of tax season. The winners of the tournament were Sammie and Dana. We created a 5-hole course filled with many obstacles!

Q1 2025 Birthdays and Q4 2024 M+R Hall of Fame Celebration
We celebrated our new hires Avery and Rob plus all of the birthdays that are in Q1 2025, by having a brunch from Tucker's! We also had our quarterly drawing for prizes from our Employee Recognition Board. The winners were Colby and Anthony!

Holiday Party 2024
The annual Mason + Rich holiday party was held at the Bedford Village Inn in Bedford, NH this year, which provided an ideal venue for a night full of laughter and jokes, as members of M&R exchanged gifts with one another as part of a celebratory Secret Santa. We brought in a murder mystery company, and enjoyed a sit-down three course meal. In addition to the holiday festivities, M&R wants to sincerely thank the Bedford Village Inn for providing a superb meal and venue for all to enjoy.
Welcome Al/Holiday Trivia
The firm welcomed Albert (Al) Tetu with a festive holiday celebration. The event featured a spirited game of Holiday Jeopardy, hot cocoa provided by Brothers Cortado and cookies provided by Social Club Creamery. Some team members added to the holiday cheer by wearing their favorite festive sweaters, making the occasion both memorable and enjoyable.
Halloween 2024
The firm celebrated Halloween by having a costume contest and enjoying apple cider and donuts! Emma Toma and Brenda Quinn won the contest!

The firm enjoyed brunch from Tucker's in Concord! This is definitely a team favorite.

The firm celebrated Tanuja joining the team by having an apple themed potluck! From sweet to savory, there was so many amazing dishes!
Social Club Ice Cream Day 2024
The team enjoyed a walk down to Social Club Creamery on Main Street in Concord for some delicious ice cream!
Summer Outing 2024
For our 2024 summer outing, Mason + Rich headed to Chucksters in Chichester, NH, which was a fun filled venue to celebrate all the firm’s accomplishments over the past several months. The M+R team brought their families, including many young children, to enjoy the mini golfing, go karts and the TimberTrek! The firm then enjoyed a relaxing dinner at Leslie's house with Smokeshow Barbeque catering! We also threw a surprise sprinkle for Tess who will be welcoming her 3rd baby!

On February 21st the firm had lunch and dessert from Twelve31 Café! A short break shared between the team as we head into our busiest time of year!

Putt Putt Tournament
We hosted an in-office three hole putt putt tournament on February 9th to help keep spirits high during the dredge of tax season. The winners of the tournament were Vinny and Anthony. We want to make a special mention to Vinny and Kaitlyn on having hole-in-one’s on hole 2 and 3, respectively. For you stats fans, the average score was 13. The average on hole #1 was 5, hole #2 was 4 and hole #3 was 4.

Q1 2024 Birthdays and Q4 2023 M+R Hall of Fame Celebration
We celebrated all of the birthdays that are in Q1 2024, by having a breakfast potluck! We also had our quarterly drawing for prizes from our Employee Recognition Board. The winners were Vinny and Mariah!
We also took this time to say goodbye to Eric Kipperman. After 3 years with Mason+Rich, he has gone off to California to pursue his calling with the Pacific Crest Trail. The team put together a box filled with goodies for his new adventure. We are so happy for him and appreciate all the work and dedication he has given to Mason+Rich and its clients.
And just one more thing! We celebrated the birth of Nathan Walkers second child. He and his wife welcomed their first baby boy on December 22nd!

For our 2023 summer outing, Mason + Rich headed to Canobie Lake Park in Salem, NH, which was a fun filled venue to celebrate all the firm’s accomplishments over the past several months. The M+R team brought their families, including many young children, to enjoy the rides and water park! The firm then enjoyed dinner at the Common Man Restaurant in Windham, NH.

CPR Training
The firm participated in CPR training taught by Emma's husband, Drew. It was a great learning experience that everyone enjoyed.

The team enjoyed a walk down to Sunday's Scoops & Treats on Main Street in Concord for some delicious ice cream and to celebrate Emma's upcoming wedding!
Mason + Rich Bids Farewell to Benjamin Hodges
Following a 3 year period growing from a staff accountant to senior accountant and obtaining his CPA license. Benjamin Hodges has decided to pursue other opportunities. We thank him for all the hard work he put in during his time with us. He will be missed!

Following a three year period as our Client Advisory Services Manager, Joshua Hodges, has gone on to pursue other adventures in life. He will be missed and we wish him all the best!

On April 18th Mason + Rich employees went to Moritomos for some hibachi fun. We may have not been the best catchers but fun was had by all!

On April 7th, 2023 the firm had an Hawaiian shirt day!
Ben and Jerrys Ice Cream Day
On April 4th, 2023 the firm had a Ben and Jerrys ice cream day! Just a little sweet treat in the midst of the final weeks of tax season.
Tax Season Ping Pong Tournament
On March 10th, 2023 the Fun Committee set up a ping pong tournament for a little getaway from our desks during the stressful tax season. Dana and Shauna won the tournament which not only included bragging rights, but a $15 gift card each to their restaurant of choice!
Employee Appreciation Day
On February 3rd, 2023 the firm celebrated National Employee Appreciation Day! Staff were happily surprised to find a 12PM scheduled meeting, was actually a pizza party! It was a wonderful celebration for all of the hard work that folks have put in this tax season so far and to recognize our excellent group of employees. Staff were also given goody-bags to take away that included water, gum and chocolate – the perfect survival package for tax season!
Q1 2023 Birthdays and Q4 2022 M+R Hall of Fame Celebration
We celebrated all of the birthdays which will occur during Q1 2023, as well as all of the work anniversaries by sampling some delicious bagels from Einstein Brothers in Concord, NH! We also had our quarterly drawing for prizes from our Employee Recognition Board. The winner was Daniela, who had been nominated for perfectly executing some bookkeeping work. We also took the opportunity to recognize Sharon Huckins for her five (5) years of dedicated service to M+R. Sharon received a certificate in recognition of this achievement, and will get to select some other gift(s) of her choosing as part of the award. Congrats to both Daniela and Sharon!
