Meet Alyssa Specht:
Alyssa relocated to New Hampshire from Long Island, NY to gain more experience in public accounting and sit for the CPA exams. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Master of Science in Accounting at The College of SUNY (State University of New York) Brockport. Before moving to the Granite State, she was working for a privately held insurance third-party administrator as a Staff Accountant.

What are 3 fun facts about yourself?
I was born and raised on Long Island, NY.
I grew up next door to my grandparents.
I have a twin.
What area of tax accounting do you like best and why?
So far, I enjoy individual tax and being able to give advice to clients and help them with their taxes as much as I can. I enjoy the connection we have with our clients.

What area of tax accounting do you like best and why?
So far, I enjoy individual tax and being able to give advice to clients and help them with their taxes as much as I can. I enjoy the connection we have with our clients.
Do you have any family traditions?
The night before Christmas eve, my siblings and I go over my grandparents house and help my grandpa make egg-nog and help my grandma set up for Christmas eve.
What is your favorite tax/accounting fun facts?
Accounting will never be extinct because the value of money will never go away. Its the career that will never die.
Describe an interesting hobby or pastime that you have.
I love to cook and make up meals with whatever I have in my fridge.
What is the best advice you can give someone who just started their career?
Keep going and remember why you picked your career.
What is your favorite part of New Hampshire and why?
I just moved to New Hampshire in 2023. I am excited for warmer weather so I can explore the lakes and mountains. I would love recommendations!
What does your position entail/what's your favorite part about your position?
Preparing individual and trust returns. My favorite part is doing a task correctly and having all the concepts I've been taught start to click.
What is your specialty?
I do not have a specialty yet. I am still aiming to learn every aspect of accounting.
