The New Hampshire Department of Revenue Administration recently issued a press release reminding low and moderate income homeowners that they be able qualify for property tax relief.
To qualify for property tax relief, homeowners needed to reside in the homestead by April 1, 2016 and have total household income of $20,000 or less if single ($40,000 if married or head of household). The period to apply for relief is from May 1, 2017 until June 30, 2017. Homeowners should use Form DP-8 to apply for relief.
